Dear "Boy"
At this point in time it is not important to tell your mother about your sexual preferance. She will not understand. In my opinion I would wait a few years till say you are ready to leave the house, have a job, or better way to take care of yourself on your own. Mom is just going to tell you that it is a phase. If she doesn't then she will pretend to be supportive but doubtful she will actually be supportive (in most cases). I would suggest to you that what you are going through is a crush. You should not ever date, or ask for a date from anyone that you don't know for a fact is gay. You could be brave and ask him if he has ever thought about men that way. I never came out in the same way that you are. I was very secritive about it for about 6 years. I wish you luck in the future. Peace~ Nicole
