Dear Journal,
June 9, 2018
I don't think I'll be able to afford Molly a haircut because it's $40. Guess either Paul will have to pay for it, or we'll have to do it ourselves again this year. I brought Molly to KL so that I can surprise her with her dad when he gets out of work. I know she hates car rides, but the end results of this one will be awesome. The fam and I all say down and made another delicious lasagna. It broke my budget by about $15, but it was so worth it. I could never make a lasagna without them.
Yesterday was awful. I couldn't help but move slower than usual. They put me on the demon press that moves faster than you can breath. When I got there, the 1st shift operator was letting the parts pile up and hit each other in the chute. I told him, "You DO know that you have to keep up with these parts until I'm ready, right?" He said, "No." and stopped the machine despite there only being 6 parts on the rack. That was dumb. So, on the paper, I wrote exactly what happened. Later on, I took a part off the fixture and the high retention clip was loose. I thought it was the clips, so I ordered more. When Earl came over, he said that the "tork" on the drill needed to be adjusted. (wtf is a tork?) At the time, I had enough parts to fill 4 boxes. It was 11:00 by the time I finished and I needed to take a massive dump before cleaning anything up. I also think I might have shorted the order, but I don't give a fuck. While I was in the bathroom, Ann paged me to my press and I was so pissed. I honestly considered walking out.
