August 2012 The flight of a sparrow flies straight like an arrow. The kiss from a sin embedded deep within. The touch of your face, the sweltering embrace. A deep breath I breathe, while walking through trees.
A sound clanging loud, the touch of a cloud. Heavens above, save me from love.
The heart open now, the past gone somehow.
Who am I? I ask, without the dreams of the past. I fear what I've done with the lives I have won.
When sadness is near, I pray for no fear. My eyes watch your face, my feet find their place.
I reach out again for lust and for sin.
I feel sadness and brave, for the lives I have saved. I see hurt, I see fear for the ones I hold dear.
Wishing away for the times when I pray. Ever so close, the Lord as my host. I hold him up high, with a stye in my eye.
Forgiveness I beg, from the Lord God my friend.
