About a month ago, I had a dream about a very special ring. Today, I went to a jeweler and he actually gave me some insight on such a piece that I described.
The ring was a silver band with a very large, square, clear diamond in the middle. However, in the middle of the diamond was a small pearl. It was the most beautiful ring I had ever seen. I thought, "How did that pearl get trapped inside that diamond?"
This afternoon, I was walking down Washington Street in Grand Haven, when I decided to see if I could find a ring like that. I popped in at J. Morgan Jewelers and described the strangeness of the ring. The obviously gay man told me, "I don't think that exists, actually. Because diamonds are produced in a volcano while pearls come from clams. I don't think that a clam would be living in a volcano with carbon in its mouth."
The ring had to have been a sign. I know that the gay man was just trying to get me to buy something more realistic, but what he said really clicked in my mind.
Why would a clam live in such a dangerous environment? A volcano is no place for a living thing that produces beautiful jewelry. And wouldn't it die if carbon lyed in its mouth?
And why would I put myself in such a predicament that made me feel as if I were going to die? And why would I speak such toxic words about myself? All it does is kill me.
